Gift Certificates How to Create and Send a Gift Certificate by Email How to Create and Print a Gift Certificate Buying AWS Store Items with Gift Certificates Redeeming Gift Certificates When problems occur Purchasing Gift Certificates Gift Certificates are purchased similarly to other items in our store. You can pay for them using the store's standard payment method(s). On the Gift Certificate product page, you will be able to choose the amount of money you wish to add to your Gift Certificate Account (in increments of $5.00). Purchase the total amount of all Gift Certificates that you wish to give. Once purchased, that total will be placed in your Gift Certificate Account where you can then choose the exact amount and the individual you would like to give a Gift Certificate to (you can find the total amount available in your Gift Certificate Account in the upper left hand column of each page when logged in). EXAMPLE: If you would like to buy 5 gift certificates for $20 each to give to 5 different people, simply buy $100 of Gift Certificate value (enter "100" in the "Amount" field on the Gift Certificate product page). Once purchased, that $100 will be placed in YOUR Gift Certificate Account. You can then go to the Send or Print Gift Certificate Page and create five $20 Gift Certificates with personalized messages for each (you must send or print each Certificate one at a time). The name of the person you are sending the Gift Certificate to, 2.) The email address of the person you are sending the Gift Certificate to, 3.) To Top Buying AWS Store Items with Gift Certificates If you have funds in your Gift Certificate Account, you can use those funds to purchase any item in the AWS Store. At the checkout stage, there will be a 'Credit Available' area with a checkbox to use your account (found under Payment Method). Checking this box will apply the necessary funds in your Gift Certificate Account to your purchase. Please note that you will have to select another payment method if there are not enough funds in your Gift Certificate Account to cover the cost of your purchase. If you have more funds in your Gift Certificate Account than the total cost of your purchase, the remaining balance will be left in your Gift Certificate Account for future purchases. To Top Redeeming Gift Certificates If you receive a Gift Certificate by email or in printed form, it will contain details of who the sender is and possibly a short message from that sender. The Gift Certificate will be validated and the amount will be placed in your Gift Certificate Account. If you receive a printed Gift Certificate, you can also redeem it by visiting the Redeem Gift Certificate page and inputting the claim code found at the bottom left of the gift certificate and clicking on “Redeem Gift Certificate”. 2.
